An extrusion head is provided for extruding flat profiles for producing tread strip portions of vehicle tires from mixtures of rubber or plastics materials, which permits one of the constituents such as the tread strip mixture to be changed without adversely affecting the other constituent parts of the mixture, such as the lateral rubber strip mixtures and the base rubber layer. This is achieved by suitably deflecting the flow channels for the lateral rubber layers in a front template. The flow channel for the lateral strips enters the template below the flow channel for the tread strip but discharges alongside the lateral edges of the tread strip. The head comprises a fixed central portion and pivotable upper and lower portions, the flow channels for the constituents of the mixture being defined by channels formed in insert members located between the head portions. By so doing, the flow channels for the base layer and for the lateral strips can be formed in one of the insert members leaving only the flow channel for the tread strip to be formed in the other insert member. Since it is the tread strip mixture which is most frequently changed, this can now be effected without adversely affecting the other two mixtures.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to chemical engineering, in particular to folding extrusion heads for the production of rubber or plastic flat profiles.
The purpose of the invention is to save material and facilitate the replacement of mixtures in the extrusion head.
FIG. 1 shows an installation with a folding extrusion head, a longitudinal section; Fig. 2 shows a hinged extrusion head with initial and end patterns and sections of supply channels for a mixture of side strips in the initial pattern, made in the direction to the outlet of the housing in the hinged bottom part with a longitudinal section; in fig. 3 a section A - A in FIG. 2 (feed channels); in fig. 4 — hinged extrusion head .2 without a start and ends of the templates and the folded top part, longitudinal section; in fig. 5 - section B - B in FIG. 2
The hinged extrusion head comprises a housing 1 with an inlet 2 for communicating with extruders 3 located one above the other in the vertical direction and with an outlet 4. The housing 1 is made in

The sections in the feed channels 11 for the mixture of side strips in the initial pattern 14 are made towards the outlet 4 of the housing 1 in the folding bottom part 7 for placing them under the section a of the feed channel 9 for the mixture of tire tread in the direction to the outlet 4 of the housing 1 along both the sides of the feed channel
9 for the tire tread mixture to the upper side 12 of the section a of the supply channel 9 for the tire tread mixture and their output sections 16 are placed on the side longitudinal edges 13 of the section a of the feeding channel 9, l of the tire tread mixture.

Flap extrusion head works as follows.
Three different mixtures, namely: a mixture of tread tires made of highly abrasion resistant material, a mixture of lower rubber made from a softer material and a mixture of side strips of very cohesive material for the manufacture of a tire tire from extruders 3 through the inlet 2 of body 1 in the supply channels 9, 10 and 11, respectively, hinged extrusion head. These mixtures then enter the sections through the inlet sections 15.

a, a cross-section of the supply channels 9, 10 and 11, respectively, of the initial template 14. The mixtures of the side strips come from the bottom to the section a of the feeding channel 9 for the mixture of the tire tread and to the longitudinal side edges 13. Then these mixtures through the output sections 16 fall into the end template 17 for forming the outer contours of the flat profile 18. Due to the fact that the areas in the supply channels 11 for the mixture of side strips in the initial pattern 14 are made in the direction to the outlet opening 4 of the housing 1 in the folding bottom part 7 for placing them under the section a channel 9 for a mixture of tire tread on both sides, towards the upper side 12 of this section a, firstly, it is possible to access supply channel 9 for a mixture of tire tread and the possibility of cleaning it without air penetration into supply channels 10 and 11 ; secondly, the circumference of the feed channels 11 for the mixture of side strips is very short and, as a result, approximately the same flow rates of the mixtures in the feed channels 9, 10, 11, the mixture of side strips fit better to the lateral longitudinal edges 13 of the tire tread, improves adhesion mixture of side strips with a mixture of tread pokryshki.

A hinged extrusion head for producing rubber or plastic flat profiles, comprising a housing with an inlet for communicating with extruders and an outlet in a vertical direction, one above the other in the vertical direction, and the housing is designed as a stationary middle part and with flip top and bottom parts with inserts installed between them with power supply channels made in them with the upper and two lateral sides and side longitudinal rims 1 for tread mixtures of the cover and lower rubber side strips, respectively, placed in the inlet of the housing with the possibility of replacing the initial template with sections of supply channels with inlet and outlet sections and an end template placed in the outlet of the housing to form the outer contours of a flat profile, characterized in that to save material and facilitate the replacement of mixtures in the extrusion head, the sections of the feed channels for the mixture of side strips in the initial template are made in the direction of the SRI to the outlet of the housing in a folding the bottom part for placing them under the feed channel section for the tire tread mixture in the direction to the body outlet on both sides of the feed channel section for the tread compound treads to the upper side of the feed channel section for the tread pool mixture and their output sections are located on the lateral longitudinal edges the area of the feed channel for the mixture of pokryshki protector.
